Cognitive science is the study of the mind – thought, learning and mental organization – through the integrated use of methods and concepts from various disciplines, including psychology, philosophy, computer science, artificial intelligence, neuroscience, mathematics, linguistics, biology and anthropology.

Congratulations to our 17 graduates in the class of 2021! Below are a few of their stories.
Marinella Krezic completed a double-major in Cognitive Science and Philosophy with a minor in neuroscience. She graduated summa cum laude and was awarded the James H. Robb Memorial Award for the History of Philosophy. She will be taking a gap year before deciding whether to pursue a graduate degree in philosophy or psychology or go to law school.
Sarah Maynen completed a major in Cognitive Science with a minor in Criminology and Law Studies. After completing her internship as an analyst with witness security at the Milwaukee District Attorney, she plans to take on a role working with victim services. She will also continue her part time work with children that are placed in foster care.
Cooper Bednarczyk completed a double-major in Cognitive Science and Psychology with a minor in Computer Science. He plans to pursue a career in tech.
