The Office of Engagement and Inclusion hosts a variety of ongoing workshops, speakers, discussions and events focused on leadership development. Programs are crafted to engage students in self-exploration, reflection and critical thinking. These activities help students uncover their strengths, passions, and capabilities, and create pathways for positive action in their community.

The Cardoner Scholars leadership program is open to first or second-year students who want to deepen their leadership skills and elevate their transformative Marquette education. This experience will take a cohort of students through an Ignatian-centered leadership development curriculum with its namesake attributed to St. Ignatius of Loyola’s pivotal moments of reflection while on the bed of the River Cardoner in Spain.
