Marquette University uses DocuSign to verify the identity of signatories on an application form. Faculty, students and guests/collaborators should follow their respective instructions below to initiate a DocuSign application and digital signing process. Note that the DocuSign process requires email verification. If you do not receive a verification code in your inbox, check your spam/junk folder. Please allow one to two business days after form completion for your Raj account to be activated. You will receive an email when your account is ready.
To get access to Raj, each faculty member must complete a Marquette Research Computing Account Request Form for Faculty or Staff. He or she is responsible for complying with Marquette's Acceptable Use Policies.
Students need the approval of a faculty member, typically their research adviser or instructor, who will be responsible for overseeing the training and activities of the student on Raj and ensuring the student abides by Marquette's Acceptable Use Policies. The student then needs to complete the Marquette Research Computing Account Request Form for Students or Collaborators. The student will need to provide the name and email of the faculty sponsor on the landing page of the DocuSign form. The sponsor will need to digitally sign the form before the account request can be processed.
Non-Marquette users collaborating with Marquette faculty can request access to Raj via a Marquette Research Computing Account Request Form for Students or Collaborators, but may experience a longer waiting time to get their account created. Similar to students, the non-Marquette user must have a Marquette University faculty sponsor (usually a collaborator) and include the name and contact information for the sponsor on the landing page of the DocuSign form. The sponsor will need to digitally sign the form before the account request can be processed. Please contact Research Computing Services team at Marquette (email@example.com) for your guest account information. Guests and collaborators are responsible for abiding by Marquette's Acceptable Use Policies.
Raj uses Marquette University's Active Directory for user authentication and account management. As long as a user has a valid MUID and an approved research computing account, they can access Marquette HPC systems with their Marquette credentials.
Users may lose their access to Raj after they have left Marquette because of graduation or job change. These users should move their data on Marquette HPC systems to their own storage devices or transfer the data to their sponsors. In certain cases, they can convert their accounts to a guest account with a sponsor at Marquette. Accounts typically persist for one year leaving Marquette.
