IT Services strives to keep electronic resources available to the university community on a 24-hour, 7-days-a-week, 365-days-a-year basis. We schedule maintenance of major systems and network infrastructure during off-peak hours. Unfortunately, there are instances where unplanned outages disrupt delivery of services.

How to Check on Service Disruptions
The IT Services News and Alerts page lists IT Alerts, identifying outages and other urgent information technology news. When emergency outages are required, an e-mail or text message alert is sent to the Marquette community.

Also, you can call the IT Services Help Desk at (414) 288-7799 to check if IT Services is working on a disrupted service or system.

How to Report Service Disruptions
If you become aware of service disruptions during normal business hours, please contact the IT Services Help Desk at (414) 288-7799 or via Help Desk Self Service. During non-business hours or on university holidays, report outages to Marquette University Police Department at (414) 288-6800. MUPD staff will relay information to the IT Services Operations Center and/or the IT Services Manager on call.
