Acceptable Computer Use

Both the Libraries and the University have policies on acceptable computer use; the link above goes to the Library's policy statement. See the University's policy statement on acceptable computer use.

Building Use Policies

Here is information relevant to using the library buildings: acceptable beverage containers, acceptable computer use, cell phones, food, forgotten ID’s (access to the library buildings), lockers, noise, quiet study areas, saving files on library computers, and software assistance.

Circulation Policies

The Circulation Departments in both Raynor and Memorial Libraries handle book check-outs and returns, recalls for library material checked-out to another user, and all notices and bills for overdue material. The Raynor Circulation Desk is located just inside the turnstiles and the Memorial Circulation Desk is located on level 2 next to the Bridge.

Copyright Best Practices

Here are the copyright guidelines that TA’s and faculty should be aware of when considering which materials to place on electronic reserve.

Information Desk Service Guidelines

The reference services provided by Marquette Libraries support the education mission of the University by teaching people to find, evaluate, and use information. This learning empowers them to pursue research within and outside their primary field of endeavor. Reference services also include helping acquire and maintain the information resources necessary for the pursuit of Marquette's mission.

Snow Emergency Days

Details on what services will remain available in the event of a snow emergency.

Visitor Access Policy
