Welcome to Marquette!

We are eager to welcome you and your family to the Marquette community and offer you events and programs designed to help you support your student in their first year at Marquette.

New Student Orientation takes place from Thursday, August 25 - Sunday, August 28, 2022 for all new students. Families are invited to join us for many optional programs on Thursday, August 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. These programs include (but are not limited to) Information Tables, Church of the Gesu Tours, First Generation Student and Family Welcome, and more! We will conclude the day with a Family Liturgy (2:30 p.m.) and New Student Convocation (4:00 p.m.). Please plan to say "goodbye for now" to your student between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. We will take it from there!

Area hotels tend to book quickly; out-of-town families are encouraged to reserve a hotel room well in advance. On-campus housing is not available for families during New Student Orientation.

Parking during family programming is complimentary. Families may park free of charge in either of the visitor parking structures during orientation.
