Women in Physics
This organization works to foster camaraderie among women physics majors and those with interest in physics at Marquette, to network with both women alumni and prospective students, to partake in outreach within the local community, and to host women speakers in physics every year.
- The Women in Physics group is engaged in promoting physics and in discovering the career opportunities the degree offers. They have hosted a variety of speakers, reached out to alumni, participated in outreach events with young women, and fostered camaraderie with fun events like bowling.
- Check out their outreach event from Spring 2014: Women in PhysicsClub: The Lifecycle of a Butterfly
Meetings are currently held on Thursday evenings 5:00 PM in WW PHYSICS Room 370. Anyone with an interest in physics is invited to participate.
