Business Living Learning Community

Are you interested in meeting new people and having a more immersive, applied experience? Start your Marquette journey as part of a unique community! One floor of Abbottsford Hall is reserved for up to 30 incoming business students to provide academic and social support. Abbottsford Hall is a central campus location and not far from the new business and innovation facility, O'Brien Hall.

Abbottsford Hall

AbbottsfordAbbottsford Hall houses approximately 240 freshman - all in triple rooms - at the center of campus.  The building features 24-hour front desk staff, on-site laundry and mail services, and a computer lab with PrintWise.  Additional amenities include study lounges on each floor, private in-room bathrooms, and a basement lounge / game room.

 


Business LLC Academics

Together with others of their residential community, Business LLC students will enroll in a required business foundations course during their first semester: Business Day 1 (BUAD 1001). Business LLC students will receive additional programming to support community building and enhance the learning experience including:

  • Academic success workshops
  • Major specific programming
  • Networking opportunities and other ways to engage with the business community at Marquette University and beyond
