Nursing Community

One floor of Carpenter Tower is reserved for 20 incoming nursing students, both male and female, to provide academic and social support for students in the Nursing program. Carpenter Tower is a great environment on the east side of campus - close to dining and recreation facilities, Milwaukee's downtown area, and the upcoming home of Marquette Nursing, David A. Straz, Jr. Hall - opening 2024.

Additionally they will find support in the form of RAs in the Nursing program, meals and various programming with faculty, as well as pre-exam study sessions. Each LLC member is also assigned an upper-class Nursing Peer Mentor by the College of Nursing to provide contact, mentorship and support throughout your first year. Faculty report that LLC participants are generally more engaged with their academic program than those not living on the floor.
