Each year hundreds of students and employers use our services and we could not function as effectively without the hard work and dedication of our student staff. In addition to making a difference in the lives of your fellow students, you will develop skills employers seek including written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work as a member of a team, adaptability, and the confidence to take initiative on the job. When you work at the Career Services Center you are preparing yourself for future professional success!

The Career Services Center seeks students with the ability to collaborate effectively as a member of a team, work independently and accept individual responsibility for projects or assignments, and effectively represent the Career Services Center to fellow students, campus departments, visiting families and employers.

Student Employment Opportunities

Career Intern
The intern is responsible for assisting students with basic career related topics such as resume, cover letter, and CV critiques; brief practice interviews; and job search related presentations. This position would be ideal for students who have career interest in counseling, education, human resources, higher education administration, social work or writing; with a genuine interest in helping others.
Approximately 10 hours/week 

Marketing Intern
The intern is responsible for planning and executing comprehensive marketing plans promoting office programs, events, resources, and services. Events include but are not limited to, career fairs, employer informational sessions, and CSC professional development events. Intern is expected to have a working knowledge Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Promotional materials are created using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Publisher.

Approximately 10 hours/week

Office and Employer Relations Assistant
The Office and Employer Relations Assistant is part of a team of students who provide administrative and project support to the Career Services Center. Each Assistant works with the Employer Relations Coordinator to highlight featured employer opportunities, contribute to the office social media efforts, and career programs as needed. 
Approximately 10-12 hours/week

Research Analyst Intern
The Research Analyst Intern is responsible for running internally requested reports from various databases, preparing data for analysis, and creating user-friendly reports and dashboards for external constituents. Other act ivies related to data collection, preparation, and analysis as assigned.
