COUNSELING CENTER
The Counseling Center provides a variety of clinical and consultation services to support the mental health needs of Marquette students.
If you are seeking support, call (414) 288-7172 to schedule a phone consultation or walk in to meet with one of our trained mental health professionals. During this 15-20 minute consultation, you will discuss your eligibility, treatment needs, and plan.
For mental health emergencies, the following crisis services are available 24 hours a day:
For a life-threatening emergency, call 911 (off campus), (414) 288-1911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

- - For non-life-threatening mental health emergencies:
- - During regular business hours, call us at (414) 288-7172.
- - After business hours, call the Marquette University Police Department at (414) 288-6800 and request to speak with the on-call counselor.
Additionally, can provide students with confidential support by phone or text.
If you are a student, parent, faculty, or staff who is worried about someone else and are looking for , please call us during business hours at (414) 288-7172 to consult.

Masks (e.g., N95/K95, surgical) are optional in all of our spaces. If you would like your provider to wear a mask during your visit to the Counseling Center, please inform front office staff. This will remain in effect until further notice.
Counseling Center SUMMER hours of operation:
Effective 5/22/23-8/18/23, the Marquette University Counseling Center will have adjusted hours: M-F 8AM-12PM and 1-4PM.
The Center will be closed the week of 7/3/23-7/7/23 as the University is closed.
