Large Format Printing

Presenting a poster at a conference or need a small sign laminated? Never fear, we have the tools to help you out!

Lamination

Lamination is available at the Media Equipment Desk. It is available whenever the Digital Scholarship Lab is open and will take around 10 minutes. Payment is accepted at the desk via Marquette Cash.

Large Format Printing

Properly formatted poster submissions will be printed within three business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holiday and break periods) and can be paid for/picked up at the Raynor Digital Scholarship Lab Desk (Raynor Lower Level). Students will be notified via email when the print is ready for pick-up.

The Digital Scholarship Lab offers three types of paper:

For example, a 36” x 48” poster printed on Universal bond paper would cost $12.48 (48 x .26).

Digital Scholarship Lab staff can provide a cost estimate if needed.

Patrons who do not pick up their posters by the end of the semester will have a hold applied to their library account until the cost of the print has been paid. Payment is accepted via Marquette Cash at the Digital Scholarship Lab Desk.

The Lab cannot print posters that violate the university's Acceptable Use Policy or copyright law.

Hardware 

The Digital Scholarship Lab utilizes a Canon IPF815 42-inch large format printer.

Software

We have the following software available for creating posters on workstations located throughout the Digital Scholarship Lab (lower level of Raynor), and on Adobe & Mac stations throughout the library:
