Media Editing Room
The Digital Media Editing Room is a reservable space dedicated for digital media projects and for recording audio. The room includes both a Mac with microphones and sound recording equipment, and a PC capable of audio and video editing. Both have recording and editing software installed. This room is equipped with sound dampening material to help ensure less noise bleed.
When is the room available?
The Media Editing Room is generally available while the Digital Scholarship Lab is open. The room can be reserved for up to two-hour blocks. Check the reservation page to see when the room is reserved.
Who can use the Digital Media Editing Room?
The room is available to the current Marquette students, faculty, and staff.
Is the room available for walk-ins?
The room must be reserved first before using it, even in a "walk-in" scenario.
Can I get help while using the Digital Media Editing Room?
Staff in the Digital Scholarship Lab are available for assistance Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. Please stop at the desk in the Digital Scholarship Lab for any questions you may have.
